This beautiful indoor/outdoor pool is situated within the Victorian walled garden of The Manor, Aller, in the heart of the Somerset Levels. It offers the perfect opportunity to swim privately and exclusively with friends and family; all the joys of swimming in your own pool without the hassle.
We are predominantly a teaching pool, however when the pool is not in use for lessons, you can hire it for your own exclusive use between the hours of 6AM-10PM.
Bookings are made in hourly slots, with a half-hour buffer either side of your booking to allow for previous/following hirers to change, clean down and leave without any crossover.
Please note, you must become a member of The Dragon Pool before you can book.
Annual memberships cost £30, charged as a once-yearly payment. This will entitle you to full access to the pool's availability calendar and make online bookings for your family/group on a pay-as-you-go basis throughout that year.
We have a maximum bather load of 10 swimmers in the pool at any one time. Spectators are allowed to attend but must be included when booking.
For safety reasons, there must be a minimum of 2 people in the pool area at all times as this is a non-lifeguarded venue.
Swimming Lessons run term-time only at the following times:
Monday-Friday: 4PM-8PM
Saturday: 8AM-12PM
Sunday: 9.30AM-12.30PM

ACCESS & PARKING
Please be aware that we are a listed building and there are a number of uneven steps and pathways to reach the pool. Unfortunately, it is not accessible for wheelchair users.
There is no on-site parking.
From 5.30pm The Seed Factory is available for parking- see image for suggested access routes.
Please park in the village avoiding the areas marked in red on the image.
The entrance is directly across the road from The Old Pound Inn. Please walk around The Manor, keeping it on your left and ascend the steps.
It is then a short walk past the ducks to the secluded walled garden.
